Continence supports sit across several NDIS categories — and if you're not on the NDIS at all, privately funded care is available with fixed quoted pricing. Here's how both work.
Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living
Usually funds the continence assessment itself, nurse-led reviews, and community nursing supports such as catheter, bowel, and wound care.
Core Supports — Consumables
Usually funds continence products and related consumables: pads, catheters, drainage bags, gloves, dressings, and irrigation supplies.
Capital Supports — Assistive Technology
May fund higher-cost continence equipment where an assessment recommends it, such as specialised toileting or transfer equipment.

No NDIS plan?
Privately funded care is always an option
You don't need to be an NDIS participant to work with our nurses. We support privately funded clients, families arranging care for a parent, aged care and retirement village residents, and people who simply need care now while a plan or funding is being sorted out. Every private service is quoted as a fixed fee before we attend, with no plan, referral, or diagnosis required.
