Every visit is delivered by a registered nurse with experience in bowel care and is documented to support your NDIS plan and treating team.
- Assessment and review of existing bowel routines
- Manual evacuation and digital stimulation where clinically indicated
- Suppository, enema, and trans-anal irrigation support
- Bowel diary set-up and review
- Training and handover to your regular support team
Who it's for
Who this
NDIS participants with neurogenic bowel, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, or other conditions that disrupt normal bowel function. We also support participants who are managing severe chronic constipation that affects daily life and community participation.
How it works

Initial review
We review your current bowel routine, medications, and goals — in your home or via telehealth — and agree on a clear plan with you and your team.
Deliver the program
Our nurse provides the agreed bowel care at the frequency you need, with attention to comfort, privacy, and skin integrity.
Adjust over time
We monitor outcomes, update the plan as your needs change, and support your treating team with clear clinical notes.

How this is typically funded
Bowel care is typically funded as community nursing under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living. Related consumables (gloves, lubricants, irrigation kits) are usually funded under Core Supports — Consumables.
