National Continence Solution

About us

Nurse-led continence care,

National Continence Solution is a registered-nurse team delivering continence assessments and ongoing nursing care in people's homes and by telehealth — for NDIS participants, privately funded clients and the families supporting them.

Why we exist

Continence care shouldn't mean waiting lists and guesswork

Too many people manage bladder and bowel problems alone — buying the wrong products, avoiding going out, or ending up in an emergency department because a catheter blocked on a Saturday night. Families and support coordinators are left chasing a clinician who understands both the clinical picture and the funding paperwork.

We built National Continence Solution to close that gap. A registered nurse comes to you, assesses what's really happening, and writes a plan that is clinically sound and practically usable — then stays involved for catheter changes, wound care, health checks and reviews as things change.

We are not NDIS registered, and we don't claim to be. What we do offer is transparent pricing, responsive nurses, and documentation your plan reviewer, GP or urologist can actually rely on.

What we stand for

Four things we won't compromise on

Dignity first

Continence is deeply personal. Every conversation, examination and note is handled with discretion, consent and plain language — never jargon, never judgement.

Clinically rigorous

Assessments follow structured clinical reasoning, with findings, contributing factors and recommendations documented so funders and treating teams can act on them.

Practical, not theoretical

A plan only works if it fits the household. We look at the bathroom, the routine, the support hours and the products actually available before we recommend anything.

Accountable

Version-controlled records, auditable access, clear review dates, and reports you can share or revoke at any time. You always know who can see what.

How we work

Clinical care with the admin handled

  • Registered nurses only

Assessments and clinical care are delivered by registered nurses with continence, community and complex care experience, working within their scope and current AHPRA registration.

  • In-home and telehealth

We come to private homes, SIL and SDA settings, aged care and community locations, and use telehealth for reviews, education and troubleshooting where travel isn't practical.

  • NDIS and privately funded

We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants as well as privately funded clients and families. We are not NDIS registered, and we say so up front.

  • Reports funders can use

Continence assessment reports written in the structure plan reviewers expect — clinical justification, product type and quantity, review timeframes and escalation advice.

Care you can audit

Every visit, note, medication entry and report is recorded in an access-controlled clinical system with version history, role-based permissions, multi-factor authentication for staff and a full audit trail. We maintain incident and consent registers, monitor nurse credentials and registration expiry, and share reports only through time-limited secure links you can revoke. You can request a copy of your records at any time, and raise a concern with us or directly with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
