Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this website accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability.
Compliance status
We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2) at the AA level. These guidelines help make web content accessible to people with visual, motor, cognitive and other disabilities.
Screen-reader support
The website uses ARIA attributes, meaningful form labels, descriptions for actionable controls, validation guidance and appropriate element roles. The accessibility interface supports screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack. Screen-reader adjustments can be enabled with Alt+1.
Keyboard navigation
The website is designed to support navigation using Tab and Shift+Tab, arrow keys, Escape, Enter and Space. Keyboard users can access the content-skip menu with Alt+2 and use supported navigation shortcuts for menus, headings, forms, buttons and graphics.
Accessibility profiles
The accessibility interface includes profiles and adjustments for people with epilepsy, visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, ADHD, blindness and motor impairments. Visitors can also adjust fonts, colours, contrast, animations, content highlighting, audio, cursor display and other interface settings.
Browser and assistive technology compatibility
We aim to support major browsers and assistive technologies, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA on Windows and macOS.
Feedback and assistance
Some pages or sections may not yet be fully accessible or may be awaiting an adequate technological solution. We continually review and improve accessibility. If you experience a barrier or need assistance accessing information, please contact info@nationalcontinence.au.
