Wound care nursing

Wound care nursing

Complex and chronic wound management delivered at home by registered nurses — dressings, pressure injuries, surgical wounds and negative pressure wound therapy.

Registered nurse providing wound care nursing at home

Wounds that are slow to heal need consistent review, accurate measurement and photographic documentation — not a different dressing each week. Our nurses manage chronic leg ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic foot wounds, skin tears and post-surgical wounds in the home.

We photograph and measure at each visit, adjust the dressing regimen as the wound bed changes, and communicate with your GP, specialist or wound clinic so everyone is working from the same record.

Wound care is usually funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living, with dressings and consumables claimed from Core Supports. Privately funded visits are quoted before we attend.
